Photo: Gregory Bull/Associated PressTiger Woods’s first official PGA Tour action in more than a year will last just two days after he finished four-over-par at the Farmers Insurance Open, well back of the projected cut at even par. Woods struggled in particular on Thursday at Torrey Pines, the San Diego course where he has won eight times, including the 2008 U.S. Open. After he shot an opening round 76, his even-par 72 on Friday was an improvement but fell far short of the cut line. This is just the 16th time he has missed the cut on the Tour, and the majority of those have come since 2010.
