KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 5): Tien Wah Press Holdings Bhd plans to buy British American Tobacco Indonesia's printing business, PT Bintang Pesona Jagat, for RM97 million. Tien Wah clarified an earlier announcement which did not disclose the acquisition's value. Further, PT Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk (Bentoel Group) shall appoint Tien Wah as the supplier of the printing supplies, according to its bourse filing today. Trading in Tien Wah shares was suspended since 12.03pm today following the group's request for the suspension. Tien Wah shares were last traded at RM1.75, valuing the company at RM254.75 million in aggregate.
