BBC ALBA’s Hogmanay show Cèilidh na Bliadhn’ Ùire will be broadcast live from Govan Old Town Hall in Glasgow, with the fabulous Glenfinnan Ceilidh Band and Gaelic sensations Tide Lines who will be bringing in the bells on BBC ALBA for the first time. The iconic show will be broadcast live and worldwide, with Cathy Macdonald and Niall Iain Macdonald hosting what has been described by audiences as the best ceilidh of the year. “There is no doubt that this is one of the absolute highlights of the year on BBC ALBA and we are thrilled to have music from Tide Lines for the first time to take us through to the New Year,” said Fiona MacKenzie, BBC ALBA Executive Producer.
