Twenty people have undertaken training to make Tibenham the first designated mindful village in south Norfolk. Already up and running in the district’s market towns, the scheme challenges the associated stigma around mental health, with wellbeing champions encouraged to have open conversations in their community. Resident Lorna Pyke, who has been helping to promote wellbeing in Tibenham since 2017, said: “The wellbeing champion training was very welcome. A number of people in Tibenham have received training. Earlier this month, district councillors Kim Carsok and James Easter visited the village to congratulate the new wellbeing champions.
