Marcus Thuram did better than some of the veteran international players on display during his France debut against Finland. AFPFinland spoiled Marcus Thuram's football party by beating France 2-0 on the day the Borussia Monchengladbach attacker emulated his father Lilian Thuram in making a national debut. Thuram, 23, was picked by Didier Deschamps for a friendly at the Stade de France more than 22 years after his dad was a World Cup winner there. But Marcus Forss stunned France to score, and within minutes Onni Valakari doubled Finland's lead. Thuram could be in contention for World Cup holders France's upcoming Nations League matches against European champions Portugal on Sunday (HK time) and Sweden on Wednesday.
