Severe weather outlook for Saturday, Feb. 25. This squall line could generate a sudden blast of strong wind (40 to 50 mph), somewhat like what we experienced earlier this month. There may also be pockets of severe wind with gusts to 60 or 70 mph. For the time being, the NOAA SPC thinks that this will be a marginal event for widespread severe weather, because the instability is generally lacking. CWG will be monitoring the situation and will update the forecast tomorrow.
