A thunderstorm was tracking through southern Manitoba hail, lightning and strong winds. There were severe thunderstorm warnings across the south throughout the evening. Environment Canada said conditions in southern Manitoba were favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, damaging hail and heavy rain. The thunderstorms should move out of the province overnight, Environment Canada said.
