NATORE, Oct 11, 2024 (BSS) - Two people were killed and two others injured intwo separate thunderbolt attacks in Haltibil area in the district thismorning. The deceased were identified as Abdul Momin, 35, hailed from Kholabariavillage in Naldanga upazila and Md Raihan, 25, an inhabitant of Atrai upazilain Naogaon district. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Naldanga Thana Mostafizur Rahman said a thunderbolthit Abdul Momin's boat while he was collecting snails during the rain inHaltibil in the upazila with two others. They were brought at Natore Sadar Hospital where the duty doctor declared himdead. Besides, Md Raihan was killed in another thunderbolt strike in Mora AtraiRiver close to Haltibil when he was catching fish during the heavy downpourthis morning.
