The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) says its officers pounced on suspects William Kihara Ndegwa (26), David Ng'ang'a Ngure (22yrs), Eliud Njoroge (36) and Geoffrey Mwangi (36) three days after the raid. "Having assaulted the man of the house and tying him up, the gang then forced the children to witness the animous felony as two of them repeatedly raped their mother," DCI says. "They then slaughtered one hen, preparing it and eating it right in the same house," the statement added. DCI said that the suspects' arrest was facilitated by information from members of local community policing.
