A police constable was on Saturday shot dead while his wife sustained serious injuries after they were attacked by two armed robbers. The officer was reportedly pronounced dead on arrival to Nairobi Women's hospital in Kitengela. His wife is also receiving treatment in the same hospital after she was shot on the left-hand elbow. Confirming the incident, Isinya sub-county commander Silas Ringera stated that officers who visited his house recovered three 9 mm spent cartridges. “The wife was robbed Sh9,300 in cash and Sh1,000 was transferred from her M-Pesa account.
