Charter of UNUnited Nations, Sept. 7 (PTI): The UN Charter, the seminal treaty of the United Nations, has been translated into Sanskrit. "The Charter is now in Sanskrit. Thank you Dr Jitendra Kumar Tripathi for this pioneering effort," India's permanent representative to the UN ambassador Syed Akbaruddin tweeted yesterday. Bomb attackThiruvananthapuram (PTI): A crude bomb was hurled at a BJP office in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday night shortly after party state president Kummanam Rajasekharan left the office. The BJP accused the state's Left government of supporting "violent attacks" by CPM cadres.
