The Churu police on Wednesday arrested three women after officials found that they were carrying live partridges in their bags. Moreover, the women were travelling to Delhi from Churu railway station in order to sell the birds, a task that they have confessed they commit every few days. On Wednesday officials from the Churu police were conducting checking of trains and belongings at Churu railway station when they came across three women. “The women appeared suspicious ,seeing their reaction, the cops asked them to show what that had been carrying. As the bag was opened, it revealed scores partridges being stacked one over the other in the bag,” officials said.
