The convicted were identified as Rajib Hawlader, 25, Rimon Hossain, 25, and Shafiqul Islam Molla, 25. The person who got acquittal in the case is Selim Hawlader, 35. Rimon was present in the court during the verdict while the rest of the accused are absconding after getting bail. On September 22, her father filed the murder case against six named people and four unnamed people with Rajoir police station. The Imam of the mosque, Shafiqul Islam, confessed to the killing after he was arrested by police.
