Three things: Hats off to Jays in extras. Jordan Romano, not so much

Ciao, belloOn the day when they gave away his commemorative cap, Jays closer Jordan Romano came in to pitch the 10th inning of a 3-3 tie. Romano was let off the hook by the Jays’ game-winning rally in the bottom of the frame, and picked up a win on his cap day. He and Pasquantino will laugh about it next spring when they’re playing for Italy at the World Baseball Classic. With the score tied 3-3 in the seventh, Zimmer went in to run for Alejandro Kirk with one out and got picked off first base.
