Police have arrested three young men following a number of burglaries in the Kerikeri region over the past couple of weeks. The burglaries have taken place in the early hours of the morning, often disturbing sleeping residents, which caused further distress to victims. Kerikeri Police would like to thank the community for providing assistance with finding these alleged offenders and hope the arrests provide some reassurance to local residents. A 17-year-old, 18-year-old and 19-year-old will appear at the Kaikohe District Court on Tuesday, each charged with five counts of burglary. As always, police ask that all instances of suspicious behaviour or crime are reported.
