A crash in the early hours of the morning has closed SH22 near Drury in Auckland. Police were notified at 2.40am of the two-car crash near the intersection of Karaka Rd and Great South Rd. One person is in a critical condition, another has serious injuries and a third has moderate injuries, a police spokeswoman said. All three were taken to Middlemore Hospital by St John Ambulance. SH22 is expected to be closed until 7am.
