Three students were reported to have drowned in the river Damodar when they went to bath. The students went to the river with out informing their families. Ganesh Mukherjee, student of class nine of Burnpur Shantinagar Vidalyay was the only student identified. RESCUE OPERATIONThe flow of Damodar is high and thus the rescue team is having a tough phase in recovery works. Four students of B.C.Roy Engineering college, Durgapur also went missing when they went to take bath in Ajay river.
