Three women are being recognized as "Women on the Rise" by YWCA Columbus. Now in its third year, the special honor highlights young women making an impact in the community. Zora's House is a co-working and community space in Weinland Park that caters specifically to women of color. Scott previously worked with the Ohio Progressive Collaborative, LEAD Ohio, the Ohio Democratic Party and the Columbus Foundation. Tong graduated from OhioHealth's administrative fellowship program and has a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s in public health.
