A seabird conservation group is calling for a bird that can fly to replace the kiwi as the country’s native symbol. Moana believes other birds, including Buller’s Shearwaters, are a "little common". Yellow-eyed penguins are unanimous in their belief Buller's shearwaters are "jumped up bloody seagulls". And hey, think about this: do tourists come from all around the world to look a Buller’s bloody Shearwaters? Buller’s Shearwaters don’t.
