Since I am not among the privileged few who enjoy a talk-show at prime time and get to ask questions to eager ministers, politicians from the opposition and other opinion makers (also labelled as “senior tajzia kaar” these days), I thought of sending my three questions here, hoping that someone might ask them in their show and enlighten us about simpler explanations of everything that is happening around us. The first question is why don’t the politicians (including high-ranking government ministers) follow the SOPs? Opposition leaders are seen sitting or standing next to each other, and could be seen mingling with the crowd. In this world, men have far fewer opportunities than women to study or work. In this very world, men are constantly harassed (on the street, in the marketplace, in institutions) and violence against them is not unusual.
