Sadly, a 41-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman and a 9-year-old boy were found dead at the scene. A 7-year-old boy was taken by ambulance to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow where he remains in intensive care. Police said a multi-agency operation took place at the scene however three of the swimmers were dead on arrival.
