The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has added a runny nose or congestion, nausea and diarrhoea to the recognised symptoms of Covid-19. The CDC says symptoms may appear between two to 14 days after exposure to the virus. "Whether coronavirus leads to such symptoms directly – by infecting the gastrointestinal tract or indirectly as part of general inflammation – isn’t known. The CDC says its current list of symptoms does not include every possible indication, and will continue to be updated.
