"This is also part of an intensified governance reset aimed at strengthening our institutional discipline and safeguarding industry confidence," he said in a statement on Saturday (Feb 21). He said that HRD Corp's ongoing review has already identified areas requiring tighter internal controls, clearer reporting structures and enhanced compliance oversight. To this, Mohamed Shamir said corrective enhancements were being implemented to modernise HRD Corp's governance frameworks, reinforce accountability mechanisms and streamline administrative processes to better serve employers and training providers.
