There was confusion at the Egbeada Housing Estate, Owerri, Imo State, on Wednesday after an unidentified person stole a three-month-old baby, Precious Silas, from her mother’s bedroom. Findings by our correspondent showed that the baby was stolen after his mother, Mrs Chidinma Silas, stepped out to get an item within the neighbourhood. Chidinma, who spoke to PUNCH Metro in Owerri, said the suspect broke into her bedroom and stole child, leaving his two-year-old brother behind. I felt someone might be playing pranks on me but as the day went by, I didn’t hear anything from anyone.
