Three other people were injured in the accident that took place on Wednesday morning on Bonparha-Hatikumrul Highway in Boraigram Upazila of the district. The deceased are Dolon Hossain, 28, and Helal Uddin, 60 from Bhuapur Upazila of Tangail. The injured – Forhad Hossain, 36, Abdul Matin, 44 and Joynal Abedin, 39, - were admitted to Natore Sadar Hospital. Bonparha Highway police OC Abdullah Al Mamun told bdnews24.com: “Around 9:30am, the vehicles collided with each other in Manikpur area leaving two dead on spot while another man died after being taken to Natore Sadar Hospital.”All the victims were passengers of the trucks who were on their ways to Natore to buy cattle. The bodies were kept at the Natore Sadar Hospital, said the OC.
