The fatal accident occurred at 7am on Saturday, July 24 at Tangu area in Salama, Makueni County. [Stephen Nzioka, Standard]Three people, who were travelling in a private vehicle, died on the spot in a road accident on the Mombasa-Nairobi highway at Tangu area in Salama, Makueni County. The X-Trail was heading towards Nairobi from Mombasa, when the crash occurred at around 7am on Saturday, July 24. Police say the truck driver escaped after the accident. Bodies of the private vehicle occupants, two men and a woman, were moved to Kilungu Sub-County Hospital morgue.
