Three people, including an unidentified woman and a Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) task force member Nirvair Singh, were killed and four injured in a head-on collision between an Innova and a Chevrolet on the Chamkaur Sahib-Neelon road at Bassi Gujran village on Sunday evening. SGPC member Amarjit Singh Chawla, who was in the Innova, had a narrow escape in the mishap. A security guard Harjinder Singh and Nirvair, who were travelling with Chawla, were also referred to the GMCH-32, Chandigarh.
