more-inThe Shil Daighar police on Monday claimed to have solved the murder of a 32-year-old woman and her 11-year-old daughter with the arrest of three people from Karnataka. The main accused, a 19-year-old woman, has told the police that the victim had pushed her into flesh trade. “At the Surat bus depot, we showed pictures of Sheikh and her friend, Ali Akbar Kachwala (28), to bus and autorickshaw drivers. Fed up of the exploitation, she sought the help of Kachwala, whom she had befriended while staying with Siddiqui,” said the officer. On the night of the murder, Sheikh, Kachwala, and his relative Amina (47) reached the Siddiqui residence.
