Our Drum 70th birthday celebration magazine will be on shelves at most major retailers on 26 March 2021. It was the turbulent 1960s in South Africa. Young Margaret Nunge knew exactly when her favourite magazine would be delivered every week to Bokhoolane's shop in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth. When the rumbling truck arrived, she was there, first in line for the latest issue of DRUM. Little did Margaret know her loyalty and passion for DRUM would still be flowing through three generations of the Nunge family 50 years later.
