A statement from La Liga read: “As a result of La Liga’s complaints about racist insults during El Clasico, the National Police have arrested three people for violating the dignity and moral integrity of two footballers. “La Liga provided recordings provided by operators and an expert lip-reading report to confirm that those arrested had uttered the racist insults that were made public through social networks and the media. Barcelona, Real Madrid and La Liga all released statements denouncing the alleged racist abuse last month.
