Three people drowned when Kandisi River in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado, burst as they crossed it on Thursday night. "They had been crossing the river along Fatima Road when it burst suddenly," he said by phone. Ongata Rongai MCA Mwathi Pere, who went to the scene, said the river's four tributaries got swollen as a result of heavy rains. The incident took place a day after three people died in a landslide in Kajiado West sub-county.
