Three mongrels died of suspected poisoning in a farm in Pat Heung, Yuen Long. The dog owner surnamed Cheung called the police at 1:54am after discovering two dogs died in the lumber room and one died in a ditch outside. One of Cheung’s dogs also went missing. The police suspected that someone might have thrown poison baits into the farm, leading to the dogs’ deaths. The case was listed as cruelty to animals and being investigated by Yuen Long District Investigation Team 1.
