A three-day International Conference titled ‘ICCESD-2026’ began at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) on Thursday. Department of Civil Engineering has organized the conference under the theme of Civil Engineering for Sustainable Development. The event was chaired by Professor Dr Kazi Hamidul Bari, Conference Chair and Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering at KUET. The conference is sponsored by Poles & Concrete Limited (PCL), Kadamtali Steel Mills Private Limited (KSML), Glory Poles Limited (GPL), and Seven Rings Cement. Faculty members and students of KUET’s Department of Civil Engineering, along with invited guests from home and abroad, attended the inaugural session.
