Roof caves in after two days of heavy rain, snowfa­llPESHAWAR: Following heavy rain and snowfall, at least three children were killed and seven others injured as roof of a house collapsed in North Waziristan on Saturday. The roof of the mud house caved in in Datta Khel area, and the injured were shifted to a local hospital. He gave directives to the district administration to provide all necessary treatment to the injured. The provincial chief executive also told the Provincial Disaster Management Authority to be on-alert to response to any mishap. In view of extreme temperatures, Swabi’s deputy commissioner requested the provincial government to extend school holidays till March 10.
