[George Njunge, Standard]Three men were yesterday charged with kidnapping a police officer.Reuben Ochieng', Dennis Omondi and Jared Onyango, who appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi, are said to have committed the offence on Tuesday. They are accused of kidnapping Police Constable Robert Nyange at Railways matatu terminus in Nairobi. The trio faced a second count of assaulting the officer by beating him up and causing him actual bodily harm.
