The boat capsized on Tuesday evening after the boys started the fun ride from the new jetty in Jaliaparha area around 5:30pm, Teknaf Police Station OC Main Uddin told bdnews24.com. The missing boys are Mohammad Amin, 9, Anwar Sadeq, 8, and Saddam Hossain, 16, all from Teknaf municipality, according to the police. The OC said locals rescued 14 of the boys but the three are still unaccounted-for. The search operation was under way, he added.
