Residents of Chesumei, Nandi County, woke up to a sorrowful after they recovered three unknown bodies in Kimondi River. The residents were on a mission to retrieve the body of middle-aged man alleged to have committed suicide in the river. The bodies, retrieved in a stretch of one kilometre apart in the river and yet to be identified, are suspected to be of boda boda operators who may have died outside the county.
