NewsThree persons wanted in connection with a string of crimes, including the attempted murder of an individual at Ahungalla, have been arrested. They were also wanted over many other crimes, according to police. They were arrested at Pelawatta Junction in Thalangama by Special Task Force (STF) personnel, who subsequently handed them over to the Organised Crime Prevention Division. The suspects are aged 22, 24 and 50 years and are residents of Thalangama and Balapitiya. They are due to be produced before the Balapitiya Magistrate's Court.
