Adekunle Peter, BeninThree persons have been arrested by operatives of the Edo State Police Command in connection with a video in which one Miss Favour Ada was stripped and tortured for alleged theft. Ada was allegedly accused of stealing an iPhone worth over N440,000 at Ugbiyoko, a suburb of Benin. The video, which went viral on the social media, showed the 25-year-old lady being stripped and tortured before pepper was forced into her private parts by her attackers. A source at the Edo State Police Command told Southern City News in confidence that three suspects were already in their custody. They accused her (Ada) of stealing an iPhone worth about N440,000, and did all that to her,” the source said.
