It only took the courage of some town folks who realized that the suspects were not military personnel and managed to apprehend and hand them over to the Wassa Akropong Police. A court in Tarkwa sitting on the case has adjourned hearing to Thursday November 16, 2017. Some of the residents and a victim of the robbers, Abugri Haruna confirmed to Empire Community News that the suspects took responsibility for the robbery incidents recorded in the area and have threatened to kill residents who facilitated their arrest if they are released. The suspects are said to have also confirmed, upon further interrogation that the military uniforms and handcuffs are supplied them by their Kumasi based leader.
