Police have detained a Rohingya woman along with her five-year-old son and mother in Bogra town for trying to lodge passport applications with fake papers. Hajera went to Bogra Regional Passport Office with forged papers around 5pm to lodge the passport applications for herself and her family members. “Officials became suspicious when Hajera looked distracted while answering queries about her father’s name and address, The passport forms were earlier downloaded from the Passport Office website,” said Shahjahan Kabir, assistant director of Bogra Regional Passport Office. Besides, she revealed that her mother Amena and son Osman were staying at Tarapur village of the union. Abdul Mannan, seemingly a broker from Dupchachia union, made an agreement with them to arrange for their passport from Bogra Regional Passport Office, according to Amena.
