Perhaps these aren’t the boldest guesses, but I would be amazed if Call of Duty: 2018 is not the following:1. Black Ops 2 represents essentially the pinnacle of Call of Duty, a beloved game that broke launch sales records, and Black Ops 1 and 2 are only behind Modern Warfare 3 as the best-selling COD games of all time. Black Ops 3 was only barely edged out by Ghosts, but that game was still very well received by most players. If BO4 tanks, perhaps next time we’ll get something different, but the Black Ops brand is still beloved enough for a fourth installment, it would seem. They figured it out, and Black Ops 4 will feel closer to Modern Warfare/original Black Ops gameplay, and echo what made WWII a hit.
