The Portuguese boss officially starts work at Old Trafford on 11th November, with his first match in charge 13 days later against Ipswich Town. United interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy earned a draw against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday. Christian Eriksen’s injury is less serious and United are hopeful that he could return to the squad for Thursday’s Europa League match against PAOK.
