The Northern Irishman says that the club has followed advice from doctors and the unnamed players have been kept away from the squad. ‘We’ve had a few players who have shown symptoms and signs,’ Rodgers said in a press conference ahead of Leicester’s game at Watford on Saturday. ‘The game is about the players and the fans and if you have one not there, it’s not the same. Rodgers said of Pereira’s season-ending problem: ‘He’s a brilliant player and has been great for us all season.
