Thousands still without hydro in Greater Sudbury after thunderstorm

Thousands of people were still without power Friday morning in Greater Sudbury after a thunderstorm rolled through the area Thursday. The largest outages were being reported in the Whitefish, Lively and Walden areas but there were dozens of others all around Greater Sudbury. Greater Sudbury Hydro posted on social media that most of its customers have had power restored, but a few customers are still affected due to trees on hydro lines.
