Officials have been encouraging more people to register for the mass coronavirus testing program and say that as of 11:00am today 340,000 have booked appointments. Chan reiterated that universal testing is imporant in the overall prevention and control of the coronavirus. All epidemic prevention measures will not be eased at the same time. The free coronavirus testing program begins on Tuesday and will run for two weeks, but could be extended. Appointments are full for the first day at some testing centers, health officials sais.
