Thousands more cops needed for Quezon City, Manila precinct expansion 0 SHARES Share it! Share TweetBy Aaron RecuencoThe National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) needs 18,225 more policemen following the creation of additional police stations and precincts in Manila and Quezon City. Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa, officer-in-charge of the Philippine National Police (PNP), said Monday the vacancies also include 35 police colonels for the new offices and units created. The restructuring of the NCRPO is based on a resolution adopted by the National Police Commission, given the increasing population in Manila and Quezon City. The resolution approves the increase of police stations under the Manila Police District (MPD) from the existing 11 to 14.
