Fudge said prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gander welcomed as many as 19,000 visitors a year, thanks in part to the success of Come From Away. "Even early in the run, it was like always, 'Remember, this will some day come to an end,'" she said. Come From Away will end its run at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Oct. 2.
