Thorough cleaning for schools used as testing centersThe premises of 24 public schools used as coronavirus test centers will be thoroughly cleaned after the scheme ends, the Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, said. “All campuses used are assessed by the Department of Health and the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, ensuring they are suitable for use,” he added. Yeung encouraged more citizens to sign up for testing, to create favorable conditions for the reopening of schools. The testing will last until September 7 and may be extended for a another week, based on the progress. On social media, Yeung thanke school workers, administrative and medical staff working for the scheme.
