Thomas Tuchel: becoming England manager 'feels like a privilege' – video

Thomas Tuchel said he was 'very excited and honoured' to have the opportunity to manage England after being announced as Gareth Southgate's successor as head coach. The former Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich manager becomes the third non-Englishman to hold the post after Sven-Göran Eriksson and Fabio Capello. The 51 year-old German, who will be assisted by English coach Anthony Barry, said 'I understood very quickly that is it is a big job, I think always the job you are in is the biggest job and it makes no sense to compare, but it feels big and feels like a privilege.' Tuchel added that he will be 'a national coach every day' and that he 'loves to live and work' in England following his experience at Chelsea.
